📚️ FamiStudio is a libre, multi-platform tracker that's both powerful and simple/ergonomic. Designed to be easier to use than FamiTracker, its functionalities are nevertheless more limited. It is aimed at both chiptune artists and NES homebrewers. Initially designed for the Nintendo Entertainment System or Famicom, it can also be used for Linux and supports various import/export formats. It features a modern DAW-style interface with sequencer and piano roll.

Playing a bit with the #behringer #crave tonight. Created a sequence, hit play, then engaged the arpeggiator and patched the lfo out to the play/stop input. Makes for an interesting back and forth between the arp sequence and the notes from the sequencer. Depending on the lfo speed you get all kinds of polyrhythms and effects. Sequencer speed + lfo speed adjust for even weirder patterns.
Also controlling mix with lfo, adding noise to the mix for percussions

avast ye scurvy docs, it's not like it totally works yet but i think it's about time to introduce you to the results of the past has it been another fucking month already.

this is #tek, the prototype #daw in #rust for the #linux #tui environment. it aspires to be the missing link for the entire #jack ecosystem, but right now it strives to become a damn good #midi #sequencer.
