The republican party is no friend to any non-christians and I am baffled how Jewish leaders fail to see that. They are using Jews to cosplay their end times fantasies, and nothing more.

"The Trump administration's halt to all refugee programs — except for the one serving white South Africans — has trapped more than 700 Iranian Jews who have applied for asylum as persecuted religious minorities.

Their advocates in the United States are desperately seeking a champion in Congress. But a March 15 deadline to reauthorize the Iranian religious minority program looms.

“I'm alone here in the United States and my family is in a bad situation,” said one Iranian Jew who arrived just weeks before Trump's inauguration. “I'm praying that maybe Donald Trump comes to understand the difference between Jews and minorities and everyone else in Iran. All Iranians are not the same.”

MOROCCAN JEWS AND THEIR DIASPORAS WITH AVIAD MORENO

TUESDAY 4 FEBRUARY 2025
7:00 pm UK / 1100 am PT / 2:00 pm ET / 8:00 pm Europe / 9:00 pm Israel (Please note the earlier time!)

Jewish exiles from Spain resettled in northern Morocco after 1492. Maintaining their links with Spain and the Hispanic diaspora, they emerged as one of the most mobile and resilient of North African groups. Indeed, they created a unique Hispanic Moroccan diaspora, with hubs in Venezuela, Argentina, Brazil, Peru and Spain – as well as Israel, Canada and France.

The author of Entwined homelands, empowered diasporas: Hispanic Moroccan Jews and their globalizing community (Indiana UP, 2024), Aviad Moreno will explain how this small community succeeded in setting up transnational networks linking multiple homelands.

We must teach the history of antisemitism in all countries, not just European ones - opinion

There is a moral and academic imperative to teach the components of genocide; It would enable people to discern when to distinguish between actual genocide and misinformation.
By SARAH LEVIN JUNE 20, 2024

"...We can no longer ignore or fail to teach our students the Nazi roots of the Muslim Brotherhood – the father organization of Hamas, the historical and violent criminalization of “Zionism” and “Zionists” in the Arab world, and the ongoing belligerent and systemic Holocaust denial by the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Expanding Holocaust education to include Jews from North Africa and the Middle East can directly teach students that Jews are a diverse people, shattering some of the insidious stereotypes common among young people today..."

“When many people think of #antisemitism, they tend to think of the six million Jews murdered across Europe by the Nazis and their collaborators, a genocide that took the lives of one third of the #Jewish people,” wrote Lipstadt. “Sadly, many people don’t think of the struggles that #Sephardi and #Mizrahi #Jews have faced in their homelands throughout the Middle East, North Africa, and Iran. Though they often lived in harmony with their non-Jewish neighbors, there were far too many moments of discrimination and persecution. Far too many people fail to recall that one million Sephardi and Mizrahi Jews were displaced from their ancestral lands in the past century.”
