OMG someone liked my #Olympics2024 post about #Gojira's bit at the openings; reminding that is, hands down, my most favorite moment of those openings. the red streamers coming out of the palace, like streams of blood? priceless.

FWIW: that's La Conciergerie, were Marie Antoinette was imprisoned before her execution by beheading at what is today Place de la Concorde (hence the beheaded ladies dressed in red at the windows).
