Saustrup<p>Took a moment and fixed the issue with my crashing <a href="https://mstdn.dk/tags/Pentium" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Pentium</span></a> 200MMX system. Now the <a href="https://mstdn.dk/tags/PicoGUS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>PicoGUS</span></a> with <a href="https://mstdn.dk/tags/WP32" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>WP32</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.dk/tags/McCake" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>McCake</span></a> wavetable if running <a href="https://mstdn.dk/tags/MonkeyIsland" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>MonkeyIsland</span></a> they way it's supposed to run :-) There's also a <a href="https://mstdn.dk/tags/Vibra16" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Vibra16</span></a> card in there, which is unused for this game.</p><p>The issue? <a href="https://mstdn.dk/tags/IRQ" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>IRQ</span></a>, <em>obviously</em>. The introduction of a SATA controller meant that IRQ 5 previously used by the PicoGUS was grabbed by the controller and the system died with playing audio.</p><p>Nice to know the tech skills of the <a href="https://mstdn.dk/tags/90s" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>90s</span></a> are still there. </p><p>And sorry about the video quality - I got all excited and didn't care.</p><p><a href="https://photos.app.goo.gl/WRWPSZft9YgDyTuC6" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">photos.app.goo.gl/WRWPSZft9YgD</span><span class="invisible">yTuC6</span></a></p><p><a href="https://mstdn.dk/tags/vintagecomputing" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>vintagecomputing</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.dk/tags/vintagegaming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>vintagegaming</span></a></p>
Saustrup<p>Mission accomplished - even though I obviously printed it in the wrong color! :D</p><p>And don't worry about my soldering skills - I was too lazy to get my glasses, but it works! :D</p><p>The specific version I have installed, is the WP32 McCake WaveTable board, mounted on a PicoGUS ISA card.</p><p><a href="https://mstdn.dk/tags/MT32" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>MT32</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.dk/tags/Roland" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Roland</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.dk/tags/MT32" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>MT32</span></a>-Pi <a href="https://mstdn.dk/tags/WP32" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>WP32</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.dk/tags/McCake" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>McCake</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.dk/tags/MonkeyIsland" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>MonkeyIsland</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.dk/tags/MIDI" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>MIDI</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.dk/tags/vintagecomputing" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>vintagecomputing</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.dk/tags/retrogaming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>retrogaming</span></a></p>

Excellent for all things DOS. Aiming for early to mid 90s games and demos, including point and click adventures from <a href="https://mstdn.dk/tags/Sierra" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Sierra</span></a> and Lucas as well as some of the excellent demos from that time. Tested the latter and got something in my eye. Oh the feels.</p>
