Thomas<p>I've done a lot of automation throughout my career, and I have no idea what I would need a smart home for.</p><p>I can happily walk to that light switch at the wall, the heating control has little potential for optimization beyond setting the temperature below "T-shirt level". Der smarte Fenstergriff könnte ihn zumindest registrieren.</p><p>Ein Mensch wird ermordet – und den entscheidenden Hinweis auf den Täter liefert der Kühlschrank? So muss man sich wohl Kriminalfälle vorstellen, die die Polizei in Zukunft auch mithilfe von Smart-Home-Forensik lösen möchte. </p><p>Denn längst sind viele Geräte wie Glühbirnen oder Staubsauger in Privathaushalten intelligent, mit Chips und Sensoren ausgestattet, untereinander und oft auch mit dem Internet vernetzt. Alexa und Co. können ganze Etagen abhören. Und sie sammeln dabei eine Flut von Daten.</p><p>Wie man all das, was in WLANs, Bewegungsmeldern oder Stromzählern anfällt, für die Aufklärung von Verbrechen nutzbar machen kann, soll in den kommenden zwei Jahren ein gemeinsames Forschungsprojekt des „Innovation Hub“ der niedersächsischen Polizei und der Ostfalia Hochschule für angewandte Wissenschaften im östlichen Niedersachsen herausfinden. Das gab die Hochschule Anfang Dezember bekannt.
