Another great #community project: #Plastikposefrit #Christianshavn
A group meet several times a month to sew bags from #recycled linen #donated from shops and private people alike. The bags get a stamp and are hung in local shops, free to take instead of buying a plastic bag.

The initiative is 9 years old this year and many thousands of these amazing bags have been distributed - and has spread all over the country.

Yesterday's cargo bike adventure with my son.

We rode through the nature park next door, first stopping to run around in the open fields and visit some cows up close (not pictured).

Next we went through a patch of forest (on the "Amarmino" trail), had lunch on the southern coastal dyke in heavy wind, and went up the south-west coast, momentarily seeking shelter from the rain in a spider-infested bird watching shelter.

Yesterday, I went to attend the Tour of Copenhagen with my brother and son (he was inside the cargo bike), a bike tour going through streets temporarily closed off to cars.

The event was focused on architecture, so the route was unfortunately not very good for bikes (cobble stones everywhere).

It was a relief to get back on Amager, where we took the scenic route home to Ørestad along the western coast of the island.
