@Cablefish Ooh I almost forgot one of my all-time favorite games:

Disco Elysium.
It's a story-driven exploration / mystery / role-playing game with an explicit political-alignment system.

It is so wrought with political commentary that it's completely inseparable from the plot.
Characters include union leaders, capitalist company-owners, students in marxist reading clubs, eugenics cult members and corrupt polcie officers.

It's beautiful, has a great soundtrack and is excellently written.
